Workflow

One of the key issues with distributed collaboration is to build up confidence between the different parties at different locations. The service agreement indicates phased deliveries. With this approach, you gain confidence that we will provide what you need, and we gain confidence that we will get needed information. Part payment is due at the completion of each milestone.
Phases

The following gives the phases of a typical project.
Proposal
    * Document work to be done and pricing in a service agreement
    * Milestone à Contract signed

Requirements
    * Document operations environment and features and performance needed
    * Milestone à Requirements Document accepted

Architecture and Design
    * Document use of Operations Agent, custom software, and integration with existing systems
    * Milestone à Architecture and Design Document accepted

Implementation
    * Configure and extend Operations Agent and write any custom software
    * Milestone à Software delivered (possibly in multiple phases)

Acceptance Testing
    * Document acceptance tests, run the tests, and fix any problems found
    * Milestone à Acceptance tests passed
